In order to bolster their sponsorship of the DJ Booth at ESPN’s College GameDay for the 2024 College Football Season, GEICO looked to Momentum for a photo submission solution that would allow fans the opportunity to see themselves on the “Get More Board” while the show was ongoing - for both fans in attendance, and the millions of fans watching at home.
The solution was a 9 foot LED wall positioned behind the DJ booth, of which attendees could scan a QR code and submit their photo for an AI transformation that would be featured on the screen. In partnership with The Famous Group, submissions would be transformed into the mascot of their school, a bronze statue, an 8-Bit video game player, and more. Fans would also be projected onto the screen live in real time for select moments of the show using Famous Group’s Vixi Live technology.
The transformation would then be sent via email to the fans to be shared with friends and on social media.
This tour took place at 13 different stops across the country during the 2024 College Football season, starting in September and ending in November, engaging with the tens of thousands of students in attendance at each school throughout the season. I was the lead producer on this project, responsible for managing the build deliverables from start to finish in partnership with the Famous Group, our internal creative teams, and GEICO, throughout the tour.
My favorite part of this project was returning to my Alma Mater, the University of South Carolina, for College Gameday to activate this fun engagement!
